Thanks for choosing Propel Résumé and Career Services (the "Company") as your partner. We are excited to begin working with you (the "Client") and are committed to your success. We will make every effort to ensure you are satisfied during every step of the process, which has generated great results for many of our clients.
To ensure agreement between both parties, please read our Client Agreement. Payment for services acknowledges that you have read, understood, and accepted our pricing, process, and terms and conditions.
PROJECT DELAYS
Client acknowledges that information must be forwarded to the Company before document preparation and/or interview coaching and that any delays on the Client's behalf in submitting the completed questionnaire will cause the Client's project to be delayed and placed into the rotation of the Company's current project schedule. Therefore, to ensure that project delivery remains consistent with Company's schedule, Clients will have a maximum of 30 days from the date of project booking and receipt of information to submit project documents to the Company.
Absent express agreement between the parties and barring any serious medical or personal emergency, the Client's failure to provide timely requested documentation, document review, or to complete any other required actions within 30 days of the date the last requested information/action by the Client, the project will be placed on hold. The Company reserves the right to terminate the project and/or assess a restart/reactivation fee if the Client fails to comply with any of the procedures, processes, or timelines. If the project is on hold for more than 30 days, a reinstatement assessment of 50% is due for the Company to re-commence work on the project and allot time on its calendar. Projects placed on hold for over 60 days will be charged a 75% reinstatement/reactivation fee. Any projects placed on hold for 120 days or longer are new projects, and full fee payment is due.
PROJECT CANCELLATION BY CLIENT
You acknowledge and understand that fees are for information-gathering, research, and development of career documents. Payment covers customized services, including personal brand development, writing, design, layout, editing and proofreading, and finalization of such documents. All work is intellectual property and takes significant time to prepare and complete, which is not recoverable.
Client acknowledges and understands that once payment is made, should the Client wish to cancel the project, a penalty will be assessed as follows: cancellation after the project is paid for, but before writing or interview preparation session generation has begun, a full refund will be less any credit card transaction fees and a 25% cancellation fee – cancellation after work has begun, but before the first draft of any documents is provided to Client or first interview coaching session has occurred, 75% of total project price is retained by Company (draft of document(s) will not be provided to Client) – cancellation after the first draft is provided to Client or first interview coaching session has taken place, the Company retains 100% of the total project price.
PROOFREADING
Clients receive detailed proofreading instructions with the final resume/cover letter document or LinkedIn strategy form delivery. Clients must carefully review their information for accuracy and completeness. Unless other arrangements are set, Clients must submit revisions by email within five (5) calendar days from the delivery of any document drafts.
REVISIONS AND EDITS
All writing services include up to three rounds of language revisions and a quality check after the initial document delivery. Revisions do not include adding additional information not part of the original document focus. LinkedIn strategy sessions are arranged during the active project as needed and do not have a dedicated block of hours. We are not responsible for incorporating new content after the final draft in the revision process. Therefore, any revisions resulting in a significant departure from the original draft will be considered a new document incurring additional before the commencement of additional work.
FINALIZING PROJECT
To deliver completed documents or finalize a LinkedIn strategy project within the standard delivery time, Clients must review all drafts, revisions, and final documents and notify the Company promptly of acceptance or any corrections. Unless otherwise discussed or arranged, all documents are considered final 30 days after delivery. Propel Résumé and Career Services are not responsible for errors, inaccuracies, or incorrect or misleading information not brought to our attention before the finalization of the project.
FINAL PROJECT DELIVERY GUARANTEE
Provided the receipt of all requested information of the Client (i.e., current résumé, job postings, "homework assignments," and any other information as may be deemed necessary) is within fourteen (14) business days of the request, completed collateral will be provided to the Client within 45 business days of receipt by Company of the final requested information. If Client provides all requested information within the stated timeframe and contracted collateral is not delivered to the Client within the stated 45 business days, Company will refund the total amount paid by Client, plus a 5% penalty. If the Client purchases more than one service, a refund is eligible for the service(s) not delivered, and a 5% penalty would only apply to that service(s) refunded.
CONFIDENTIALITY
Maintaining confidentiality is one of our highest priorities. Therefore, all information shared on worksheets or phone consultations during, before, and after the project's completion remains confidential. However, Propel Résumé and Career Services does reserve the right to submit fictionalized documents (no client names or contact information) for contest, competition, award, website, and publication purposes. By accepting this Client Services Agreement, you are providing authorization for Propel Résumé and Career Services to use the fictionalized documents without needing additional written or verbal authorization.
RELEASE FROM GUARANTEES
Many Propel Résumé and Career Services Clients have had great success finding new positions and advancing their careers. However, we cannot guarantee that Clients will land a new job or promotion because of investing in our services. Job interviews and subsequent hires are solely at the discretion of the employer. A résumé (or other career service or document) is only one component of the job-search process. Success in finding a new opportunity is based on many factors beyond our control.
Propel Résumé and Career Services work collaboratively with our Clients. By purchasing any of our services, you agree to our product and services process, which includes supplying work history and detailed achievement activities. Your information directly impacts the completed products we can create for you.
PAYMENT POLICIES
Full payment is required before any work on any services begins. The concept, design, and customization of products and/or services purchased from Propel Résumé and Career Services are unique for each Client. As such, they are considered a set of creative products and services and are nonrefundable.

If the Client elects to purchase a service or package from the Company, the Client will receive two (2) emails: an estimate & contract followed by an invoice to collect payment. All clients must electronically approve the estimate which includes the Client Services Agreement and submit payment before any work begins. Estimate approval constitutes acceptance of the terms and conditions of Propel Résumé’s Client Services Agreement.
